(ActiveRoles Server administrators needed some sort of nickname, and that’s what first came to mind.)

There are so many things I’ve learned, mostly by accident, about ActiveRoles Server and how it interacts with the technologies around it that would have been good to know when I started messing with it. This blog is an attempt to catalogue my successes (and failures) with this flexible (and frustrating) tool.

I’ll post my code snippets and screenshots, but also links to stuff far more experienced people have written.

If you read something and think, “there is a much easier/better/safer way to do that,” then please say so. I am most certainly NOT an ActiveRoles, Active Directory, Exchange or Lync expert.
